        IDEAS FOR USE

The combination of vocabulary, visuals and task variety should aid students in their journey toward mastery!

Given the nature and length of these materials and the vast amount of information about Earth's history, covering this content over multiple days is ideal to facilitate students' learning and allow for process time.

✨MOST IMPORTANTLY, use the parts that work best for you and your learners! ✨

          • They can be given as:
            • direct instruction (”Live mode” in Nearpod),
            • independent work, (”Student-paced” in Nearpod),
            • a combo of student solo/partner work
            • using the posters for the “Gallery Walk” or
            • as a remediation tool and re-qualifier to re-take a test!
            • The possibilities are endless!

I like to project/display a student version of the Nearpod on my whiteboard in the event that students’ devices are not working for some reason. Your purchase comes with an editable version of the Nearpod. While I included some checks for understanding to “stamp” big ideas, as well as videos and other activities, you can add in slides or tasks/videos/questions/websites and more to help meet the needs of your learners!

          ✨PRO TIP! ✨

          • Use interactive notebooks like me?! Well, these fit in perfectly! Simply print the pages landscape and fold each one in half – like a book (hamburger style). Then, glue the sides to each other to create a "booklet”, gluing the first and last ”outer” sides to the notebook page within each notebook spread! and tape the spine to the notebook page! Voilà! You are set!
          • This pairs perfectly with my Mastery Mini – Earth’s Age and History OR the Earth’s Age + History Study Guide Review!
