IDEAS FOR USE

Magic squares are fun, challenging, self-correcting activities that are ideal for independent work or “you do” practice. It allows students to practice what they learned in a safe way. If they don’t have all the sums for each row and column, encourage them to check their responses and try a different combination until they can get the magic number.

I enjoy mixing it up with magic square practices as they are fantastic for

⭐ a quick review

⭐ extension application

⭐ small group spiral sessions

⭐ individual reviews

⭐ re-test qualifiers and more!

These can be given as independent work, a combo of student solo/partner work followed by whole class review, or whole class review. You can even use it for “Roll the Dice” or “Mad Minute” reviews! The possibilities are endless!

Want to have your students complete it digitally? Your purchase includes a Google Slides Digital version as well! This version is great for your LMS or students in a remote/virtual setting.

✨PRO TIP! ✨
